COVID-19 Update

To Our Valued Customers and Business Partners,

On March 24, 2020, the Local Health Officer of Sedgwick County issued an emergency public health order that is applicable to all of Sedgwick County, which includes Balco’s operations.  Under this order, individuals are permitted to continue to perform “Essential Activities”, and certain categories of business, defined as “Essential Business”, are permitted to continue operating on condition that they comply with social distancing requirements.  Balco falls into the category of an Essential Business, as we are a manufacturing company that provides products that are necessary to the operations and maintenance of “Essential Infrastructure” and for use by other Essential Businesses.

At this time Balco is operating at full capacity.  We will continue to observe our regular schedule of operations and service our customers with the same quality and continuity they are accustomed to.

Rest assured, the wellbeing of our employees, customers and community remains our top priority. We have recently implemented a work-from-home policy for our employees with roles and responsibilities that are conducive to working remotely.  We will continue to follow applicable guidance issued by local, state and national officials as well as public health experts such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
