Trench Covers

Balco is the right choice when your project requires quality trench systems. Our robust aluminum trench designs provide the durability you would expect from steel or cast-iron – plus added benefits such as welded corners and easy handling thanks to the weight advantage aluminum affords. Surface options include a plain brushed-aluminum finish, abrasive slip-resistant epoxy coating, diamond safety tread, and a recessed design that can be fitted with and match existing floor treatments.

Trench covers usually have linear profiles and can be configured to your layout with corner sections, finished ends, tees, crosses, and one-piece intersections. All variations can be either cast into place or installed into a blockout in a preformed trench. Liners are optional and available for all trench  covers in 20 Ga. galvanized steel, 22 Ga. stainless steel, and .063 (2mm) aluminum.See Installation Instructions for Trench & Access Cover Systems later in this section for details.
