Course Description     This course explores the life safety aspects of expansion joint systems, stair nosing systems and photoluminescent egress system.

Learning Objectives     Upon completion of this course you wil be able:

  • To define purpose and applications for parking structure expansion joint systems
  • Identify various tupes of fire barrier to achieve fire rated expansion joint systems
  • Compare various tupes of stair nosings and how they are designed to provide skid resistence
  • Understand the concept of photoluminescent safety egress system and the basic componenets involved in this system.
